Healthy Pancake Original Recipe

  • 1 Ripe Banana
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 2 (or more) tsps of Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tbsp of vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • 1 tsp of butter
  • A pinch of cinnamon
  • Honey
  • Berries/Preferred Fruit
  1. Mix the eggs until combined. Add the vanilla extract, vegetable oil, baking powder, and the cinnamon.
  2. Mash up the banana and combine to the egg mixture.
  3. Heat up a pancake pan (flat pan) and add some butter to it. Grab a large spoon and spoon the batter into the pan. Wait until you see the border become golden and the batter on top start bubbling and producing little holes. Then, flip. When done on both sides, serve with honey and a fruit of your choice.

  • 1/2 cup of unsweetened apple sauce
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 2 (or more) tsps of Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • 1 tsp of butter
  • A pinch of cinnamon
  • Honey
  • Berries/Preferred Fruit
  1. Mix the eggs until combined. Add the vanilla extract, the cinnamon, and baking powder.
  2. Measure out the applesauce and combine to the egg mixture.
  3. Heat up a pancake pan (flat pan) and add some butter to it. Grab a large spoon and spoon the batter into the pan. Wait until you see the border become golden and the batter on top start bubbling and producing little holes. Then, flip. When done on both sides, serve with honey and a fruit of your choice.

Thick Healthy Pancake Alternative(s)

For you to get a thicker pancake, rather than a crepe, you must add oat flour to the mixture of your choice. For the recipes above, you have to add 3/4 of a cup of oat flour. If you don’t have oat flour, grind up some rolled oats. Add this after you add the banana/applesauce to the batter.
